What is First Graduate Certificate?
It is a certificate provided by the Tamilnadu government for first graduates to avail fees concession or scholarship. First graduate certificate is also known as “No Graduate Certificate”.
Eligibility
- The applicant should be a resident of Tamilnadu
- The applicant should be the first graduate from the family
If you are the first graduate from uneducated family then you will be eligible for First graduate certificate.
Apply First Graduate Certificate Online Tamilnadu
You can apply first graduate certificate in nearby Tnesevai centers or you can apply online via the Tnesevai website. For that, you need to register an account and CAN number on the Tnesevai website also known as the TNeGA website.
The first step is to log in to the Tnesevai website. Do you know? Now you can able to login into the Tnesevai without a username and password. Instead of that, you can log in easily using your mobile number.
Once you have successfully logged in to the Tnesevai website then click the “Revenue Department” link because the first graduate certificates comes under Revenue Department.
You will be redirected to the page where you can find all the certificates available under “Revenue Department“. You have to click the “REV-104 First Graduate Certificate“.
Now, you will be redirected to the instructions page where you have to read out the instructions to apply first graduate certificate carefully.
Once you have read out the instructions then proceed further by clicking the “Proceed” button. Now you have to search your CAN number using a registered mobile number or an Aadhaar number. If you don’t have a CAN number then you can register a new one by clicking the “Register CAN” button.
If you have successfully searched the CAN number then you have to verify it by sending OTP to your registered mobile number.
By clicking the “Proceed” button, you will be redirected to the first graduate certificate application form where you have to fill up the below details.

- Relation
- Whether Alive
You have to fill details of family members for all your family members. You can add another details by clicking the “Add” button.
Education Details
- Course Completed
- Year of Passing
- Current Course
- Current Academic Year
- Name of the Institute
- Institution Address
Once you have filled up all the above details then you can submit the application form by clicking the “Submit” button. Now you will be redirected to the documents page where you have to upload the below required documents in the proper format.

Final Words
