How to Create Universal Analytics Property In Google Analytics?

Recently, Google launched the latest version of Google Analytics(GA4). The old Google Analytics property is Universal Analytics Property. Now, Google Analytics 4(GA4) is the default property. Still, some users want to create Universal Analytics Property.

It is possible to create Universal Analytics Property in Google Analytics. Just follow the steps I have mentioned below carefully. I hope all of you know Site Kit WordPress Plugin that only supports Universal Analytics Property.

Do you know? GA4 is the default property in Google Analytics. If you don’t follow this guide then GA4 property only created. Once the GA4 becomes stable then I will post an article to migrate from Universal Analytics Property to Google Analytics 4(G4A).

Guide to Create Universal Analytics Property

Go to the “Admin” tab in Google Analytics and click the “Create Property” option. Now you have to enter your property name and have to choose the Timezone and Currency. Don’t forget to click the “Show Advanced Options“.

Now you have to toggle the “Create Universal Analytics Property” button. After that, you have to enter your website URL. If you want your property need to be created in both GA4 and Universal Analytics Property then choose the first option.

If you just want to create Universal Analytics Property then choose that option only. That’s it. Finally, click the next button and answer several questions.
